One extended journey circling Australia has been cancelled days after the tragic passing of an elderly lady who was stranded by the ship on a isolated island.

The elderly woman had been trekking on the remote island with other travelers from the cruise ship, but separated from the party for a break. The vessel sailed away leaving her and returned after some time after the crew discovered the passenger was unaccounted for.
