Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability earlier this year, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned with an encore that lasts until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.
The Main Attraction
The big draw is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, urban layouts, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on classic fantasy realm creation: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal on any platform, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale supports charitable organizations. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
